A gift in your will is a very real way to make a difference to the lives of those people supported by RSLWA.
Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your Will to support the work of the RSL in Western Australia. A bequest is the ultimate gift for the future and RSLWA is very grateful for gifts both large and small.
Your thoughtful gift will help current and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force and their families in times of injury, illness and crisis. Your gift can be used to support our veterans when they need it most and to provide programs and facilities for RSLWA members in sub-branches around WA.
Every year, hundreds of veterans seek the assistance of RSLWA to help them with pension entitlements, financial assistance, crisis counselling, home and hospital visits and advocacy. These services are supported by donations and gifts in Wills from generous people who care about past and current members of our armed services and their families. We invite you to become one of those people who help make those services possible in the future.
You can make a gift in your Will of various types to RSLWA including:
A residuary gift – what is left of your estate once all other gifts and costs have been paid
A pecuniary gift – a gift of a specific amount
A percentage gift – a specific proportion of your estate
A gift of assets – gifts of assets such as shares, property or real estate
We encourage you to seek legal advice and to consider your family and loved ones when writing your Will. You can be very proud of your decision to leave a bequest to RSLWA and we encourage you to talk about your plans with your family.
