October 21, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
LAKE ESPRESSO and TEEBOX CAFE, in conjunction with ASPIRE FITNESS, will be holding a ukelele jam to celebrate World Singing Day. This event will be held on Sunday 21st October from 1000 to 1200 hours. This concept has been suggested by Alan Delacy of Acid Tee Ukelele Group and strongly supported by Penny Hudson of Musica Lele Group.
To celebrate World Singing Day we are hoping to get approximately 200 people to come down and sing, jam, dance, and play. This will be a great activity for young and old alike, and we encourage all groups of all ages to attend. More information will be released as the date draws nearer.
This event will be held in support of Solaris Cancer Care, in order to raise money to help and support those suffering with cancer and their families. Any donations can be made on the day and we wholly appreciate any token you are able to give. ASPIRE FITNESS are also proud supporters of Soldier On, and can offer free gym, music, and art programs to help support those who are current or ex-servicemen/women.
We would like to thank the Claremont Council for their support in this endeavour.
