Rhodesia at War

LocationFlame of Remembrance
At the outset of World War II, Rhodesia was the first country to send troops to fight alongside those of Great Britain.
Of those that went to fight, one out of every ten, never returned home.
Rhodesia has a proud and distinguished military history. This includes proudly fighting alongside Australia and other Commonwealth countries in the Boer War, World War I, World War II, Korea and Malaya. Towards the end of the 90 year history of Rhodesia, thousands of innocent civilians, military personnel and terrorists died in a prolonged Bush War.
