Memorial for the Generals

You are invited to attend a commemoration memorial service to enable the citizens, and children of the Dandaragan Shire and surrounding districts, along with invited dignitaries, ex-service and serving members of our forces the opportunity of honouring, remembering and paying tribute to two of our nation’s most gallant, courageous, victorious and honoured Generals from World War One. 

The persons of General Sir John Monash (Europe) and General Sir Harry Chauvel (Australian Light Horse, Middle East).

1. Please be advised that a light luncheon will be served in the Jurien Bay Recreation Centre for all attending the completion of the service. Bar facilities will be available.
2. Both military bands will be parading the Army Band Perth plus pipes and drums.
3. Both bands will combine to present a wonderful variety concert in the Recreation Hall at 1930 hours. There will be an admission fee for the concert of $10 per adult ($20 Dad, Mum and the kids) all monies received as entrance fees will be donated to a worthy charity to benefit the district/area.
