RSLWA has written to the Association detailing the nature of the complaints.
CEO STATEMENT | JOHN McCOURT
RSLWA is aware of a range of concerns relating to the Rhodesian Services Association commemoration at Kings Park on Saturday 9 September.
Since the commemoration, RSLWA has written to the Association detailing the nature of the complaints and has advised that the matter has been scheduled for discussion at our next meeting of the RSLWA Board.
As custodians of the Kings Park State War Memorial and Flame of Remembrance, RSLWA is very mindful of the importance of respectful remembrance in keeping with the spirit of ANZAC and appropriate protocols.
The CEO of RSLWA, John McCourt, said feedback from the public and stakeholders is always welcome and is taking concerns raised very seriously.
