Around 50 people attended the Moora Remembrance Day Service at the War Memorial located in the town centre. Moora is located 177km north of Perth in the Wheatbelt region.
Wreaths were laid by a number of groups.
The Moora RSL Sub-Branch, Moora Shire, Moora High School and the Moora Bowling Club (the Poppy Wreath). A second poppy wreath was created by the ladies of Moora who individually knitted each poppy.
These ladies also created a poppy wall under the organising leadership of Mrs Chris Vander Ende.
John Stonehouse made the wall and stapled all the knitted poppies onto it.
