Donnybrook Christmas Barbeque
Monday 11 dec 2017
It was a stifling hot day in Donnybrook.

Sunday December 3 was a typical Summer's day, stifling hot.
However that didn't stop 32 Members and Five Social Members of the Donnybrook RSL Sub-Branch from enjoying their Christmas Barbeque at the RSL Rooms.
Maybe having the air conditioning on might have made it easier to tolerate.
But spare a thought for Treasurer Geoff Box who was the Chef, slaving (and maybe sweating) over the hot barbecue outside under the verandah shelter of an adjoining building.
Good excuse for that extra beer or two.
President Ric Evans thanked all for coming and said a special thank you to the lovely ladies who prepared the food, to the cook and all who helped in any possible way to make it such an enjoyable few hours.
Santa didn't make an appearance, but who needed him when there was such cheerful though sometimes slightly cheeky company.
No one arrested and all behaved to a degree.
The Donnybrook RSL Sub-Branch would like to wish their fellow RSL Branches a wonderful Christmas and a safe, happy and especially healthy 2018.
