The event was held on Sunday 3 December.
The Osborne Park RSL Sub-Branch recently celebrated its 98th Birthday.
In front of a packed hall of Members and guests the branch’s oldest Service Member, 96-year-old Nancy Evill (Ex-WRAAF WWII) cut the cake at the Sub-Branch Christmas function.
Diners at the event also enjoyed a performance from an ex-Rhodesian Major who was a TV icon in that country with his ventriloquist puppet.
Observers were fascinated by the antics of his monkey friend who kept shouting at him without a quiver from the ventriloquists lips.
