Victoria Cross

The Victoria Cross Library and Archive commemorate the achievements and sacrifice of returned service personnel, both here and abroad, in the theatre of conflict, peacekeeping operations and services to the Country.

The purpose of the collection is to:

• Protect archival material generated in the administration of the WA State Branch of the RSL and Sub-Branches throughout WA (current and dissolved).
• Improve access to information in regards to RSLWA.
• Provide a resource for the community in researching Western Australia’s history in times of conflict and understanding issues affecting returned service personnel.
