Mr Neil Gerrard

Mr Neil Gerrard

Neil Gerrard (better known as Gerry) served in the 5th/7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment from 2001. He was deployed on operations to East Timor and Iraq. He also was a trained piper and played the Edinburgh Tattoo when it came to Sydney in 2005.

Since completing service, he has worked in public practice accounting and currently runs his own external CFO practice since 2015.

Gerry has been a board member on a number of not-for-profit Charities and Associations over the last 10 years in Chairman, Treasurer and general board member positions.

Gerry has a Bachelor of Accounting from Charles Darwin University and Diploma from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Gerry has two boys and in their spare time get up to all manner of activities, mostly relating to sports and running small businesses together.
