Wellbeing through Activity
RSL Active is RSL WA’s wellbeing program designed to support current serving ADF members, veterans, and their families to boost their fitness, meet new mates, or develop new skills.
Through a diverse calendar of inclusive activities, RSL Active creates space for veterans and their families to connect, grow, and thrive — with options like yoga, run clubs, sailing, art classes and more.

All-Veterans Wellness Toolbox

RSLWA and The Resilience Shield have teamed up to develop this insightful video series that presents practical tools designed to help all veterans build upon their overall wellbeing. Take the Resilience Shied Survey (20 mins) and watch the series to get started building your shield.
Movement and Coffee

North Beach Sub-Branch invite all to join in for a morning of cycling or walking along the scenic shared pathways of Hilary’s coastline, followed by coffee and conversation under the Gazebo of Hillarys Boat Harbour. As the weather begins to warm up, there will also be opportunities to kayak along the coastline, so please be sure to reach out if you would like to participate.
Depart at 8:00 am for movement and arrive at 9 am at the gazebo for coffee. Contact North Beach RSL Sub-Branch for more information.
Veteran Gaming

Veteran Gaming Australia is committed to improving veteran wellbeing through online, digital gaming. Discord is the virtual platform used to connect with other veterans to participate. Download the Discord App on your device. Search for “Veteran Gaming Australia” to join the veteran gaming community.
Veteran Yoga

Yoga program specifically designed for veterans, first responders, and their immediate families/supporters. This beginner-friendly, trauma-informed program is your gateway to improving physical and mental wellbeing while building meaningful connections with your community. Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this program is tailored to meet you where you are.

RSL Strava Clubs

Would you like to get active with other Veterans from around the country? RSL Active Strava Club is a nationwide initiative with more than 200 members who run, walk and cycle their way to fitness with like-minded peers. Strava is a virtual platform for all our RSL community to join in and connect, no matter where you are located. If you enjoy getting out and getting active, sign up to an RSL Active Strava Club and enjoy the motivation and camaraderie of sharing your fitness journey.
Sailing On at the South Perth Yacht Club

RSL Active has teamed up with Sailing On to provide opportunities for RSL WA members, their families, veterans and ADF members to learn new skills and be part of a team through the repair and sailing of yachts.
The crew from Sailing On meet at the South of Perth Yacht Club, 1 Coffee Point Road, Applecross, on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9am until 12pm.
