Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Sunday, 25 April, but is limited to 10,000 people this year because of Government COVID-19 restrictions.
To manage numbers and meet the restrictions, we have had to adapt and register the event process. What this means is that patrons need to register online.
Registration is free, but is limited to six people for each registration.

This process enables us to manage numbers and fulfil COVID contact-tracing obligations.
The Dawn Service will start at the State War Memorial in Kings Park at 0600. Transperth has additional bus and train services operating for the Kings Park and Fremantle Memorial Dawn Services. Please click here to plan your journey. All veterans, serving and returned personnel wearing service uniforms, campaign ribbons or medals can travel FREE on ANZAC Day.
RSLWA recommends that participants arrive from 0400 onwards. Please note that at 0550, the lights will go out and all will be quiet as the Service begins. Please note that face masks are encouraged and social distancing of 1.5m will be in play.
Government House Gardens from 0700-0900 on Sunday, 25 April.
The community are invited to attend a Gunfire Breakfast for a gold coin donation, to share the spirit of ANZAC Day. The breakfast is organised and prepared by Rotary Club of Perth. RSLWA will provide tables and chair for community to sit at. The event will cater for 2000 people pending Covid restrictions.
Veteran fellowship at ANZAC House Veteran Central
ANZAC House Veteran Central from 0700 on Sunday, 25 April.
All of your food, beverage and mateship needs will be catered for at the new ANZAC House Veteran Central. Whether it’s an icy-cold beer from one of our four outside bars (with Aussie barbecue from 0700hrs) on Irwin St , our Rum-fire Breakfast on Level 6 before the March, or one of two spectacular lunches from 1230 (two-course plated on Level 6, or three-course plated lunch with two-hour drink package in the ANZAC Club) we have all your needs covered.
ANZAC House Veteran Central is definitely the place to catch up with your service buddies on ANZAC Day. Please note, government COVID restrictions of the day will be in play.

Perth CBD from 0900 on Sunday, 25 April.
The Australian Defence Force will step off from the corner of Barrack St and St Georges Tce at 0900, followed by veteran-carrying vehicles and military jeeps and the Ex-Services Unit, Corps and Regimental Associations. The March will move down St Georges Tce, turn right down Victoria Ave and disperse at Langley Park.

Perth Concert Hall from 1100 on Sunday, 25 April.
For the third year, the Commemorative Service will be held at Perth Concert Hall. The Service will start at 1100 and be broadcast live by ABC. Access to the venue, from Langley Park, can be approached by:
- Walking up Victoria Avenue before turning left onto St George’s Terrace. From The Duxton Hotel, walk across to the Concert hall forecourt and through the external venue doors.
- Walking westward along Terrace Road, then up onto steps leading to the venue. Walk towards the Government House Garden Side and enter through external venue doors.
- For those patrons in wheelchairs and with mobility aids, access is best approached via the St Georges Tce forecourt ramp-way and in through external venue doors. The Concert Hall lift takes patrons to any of the Concert Hall foyer areas. For wheelchair bookings please phone the Perth Concert Hall Box Office on 9231 9999 during office hours.
The program will include Salvation Army Perth Fortress band and the ANZAC Day Choir, brought together from the Perth Modern School Chamber Choirs and Perth Modern School Alumni Singers.

Veterans using this service will need to be dropped off at the corner of Hay Street and Irwin Street by 0845.
Veteran Collection Service
For those unable to March, RSLWA offers a veteran collection service. A driver will pick you up from your home and drive you to the March form-up area, through the March and then back home after.

Motorcycles in the March
For the second time, members of Military Motorcycle Clubs will conclude the Perth ANZAC Day March. The contingent will consist of members of WA military motorcycle clubs and other ex-serving members.
Riders will be required to meet at the Fraser Point Carpark, Riverside Drive, at 0800 for a 0830 departure to Sherwood Court for the March. Form-up will be at Sherwood Court, exiting along Terrace Rd from Langley Park.

Some travel delays may be experienced, so please plan your journey and allow extra time to get to your destination. It is recommended to take public transport to ANZAC Day events.
Transperth will be running a special-event train and free shuttle bus services (departing from Perth Busport) to get you to Kings Park in time for the Dawn Service.
There will be a shuttle service (Route 621) in Kings Park operating between the coach terminus near Wadjuk Way and the Vietnam War Memorial at May Drive Parkland.
Travel on Transperth services on ANZAC Day is complementary for all current and past-serving personnel. St John’s Community Transport Service
For those veterans and carers who are unable to drive or get public transport to the Dawn Service. This is available for the elderly, as well as people with moderate disabilities and their carers, who are able to aid themselves in and out of a normal sedan vehicle.

Dawn Service – 0530hrs at the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial (DMCM), Mt Clarence. Live streamed to the Albany Entertainment Centre and the large screen at the Anzac Peace Park, which have wheelchair access and are a good alternative for family groups, those with restricted mobility and elderly patrons. The memorial area is not accessible by wheelchair, with private vehicles in the area banned on ANZAC Day. Shuttle buses run from the Albany Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Middleton Beach Precinct.
Gunfire Breakfast – 0615 at the AEC for a $5 donation. Note the AEC is located adjacent to the Anzac Pearce Park (APP), where the Albany ANZAC Mid-Morning Service will start at 1030.
March – assemble at Albany Town Hall (York Street) at 0930am under the control of RSL Marshals. The March steps off at 1000, following York St to the AEC for a 1030 Service. Wheelchair and “Gofa” friendly, with transport for elderly/infirm ex-Defence members provided to and from the March Assembly Area, to the Service and back. The main access route for the March (York St) is closed to all traffic and parking from early in the morning. There is some ACROD/disabled parking available in the gravel area between the AEC and the APP for the Service. Other parking is also available to the east of the AEC. Normal parking for most areas of Albany operates as normal.

Dawn Service from 05.30 at Bedford Park expected 200 members to attend, with 3000 community members. Expected 1000 people to attend the Gunfire Breakfast. 21 APRIL – 0930 RSL City of Cockburn ANZAC Youth Parade, assemble at the City of Cockburn Council carpark, Coleville Crescent, Spearwood. 0945 parade steps off and proceeds into Spearwood Avenue to the RSL Memorial Park. 1020 ANZAC Youth Service with an estimated 28 schools and 1500 students in attendance. The best parking is in Sussex Street, Spearwood, the area is wheelchair friendly. (Note: there will be road closures in place along and around Spearwood Avenue.)
25 APRIL – 0530 Dawn Service, City of Cockburn War Memorial, corner Rockingham Road and Carrington Street, Hamilton Hill (Note: road closures in place 0515-0700). 0645 Gunfire Breakfast at the Sub-Branch. 0945 ANZAC Day Parade assembles at the RSL Sub-Branch, 73 Frederick Road, Hamilton Hill. 1000 Parade steps off. 1030 Memorial Service – City of Cockburn War Memorial, corner Rockingham Road and Carrington Street, Hamilton Hill. March at 0630 from the Coles car park, along Albany Highway to the Gosnells War Memorial in the Civic Centre Gardens for a Dawn Service at 0700, followed by a Gunfire Breakfast. Parking and wheelchair access at the City of Gosnells Civic Centre. Albany Highway will be closed to eastbound traffic from 0630 to 0700 and COVID-19 restrictions will apply to the march, service and breakfast, including mandatory contact registers.
0600 Dawn Service at Greenbushes Cenotaph on Blackwood Road. Parade to form up at the RSL Hall at 0545hrs, led by the First Light Horse troop. A simplified breakfast will include a sausage sizzle with coffee/tea and juice to assist with managing the COVID-19 requirements. In addition, every one will need to register their attendance at one of the COVID Stations, signing in manually or using the SafeWA App and the RSL QR code. No bookings or pre-registrations are required.
The Joondalup City RSL Dawn Service will be held at the grounds of the Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club, Boat Harbour Quays, Ocean Reef from 0545. The Service will be followed by a gold coin-donation Gunfire Breakfast. Two-up will be played following the Gunfire Breakfast & a pop-up bar will be opened from 0800. There is limited disabled parking at the Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club. There is a large parking area near-by at the Ocean Reef Marina car park. The carpark does fill up, with late-comers having to park along Ocean Reef Road.
The City of Joondalup 2020 Dawn Service will be held at the War Memorial, Central Park, Grand Boulevard, Joondalup from 0545. Tea, Coffee and ANZAC biscuits will be available following the service. Parking at Lotteries House, Lakeside Shopping Centre or Joondalup Admin Building.
1045 Memorial Service at Jurien Bay War Memorial. Gunfire Brunch afterwards at Jurien Bay Bowling Club. Venue is wheelchair friendly with street parking available.
24 APRIL – 1100 ANZAC Parade through Kalamunda. 1145 Service at Kalamunda Cenotaph. 1230 social gathering at Kalamunda RSL hall (35 Canning Rd, Kalamunda WA 6076). Parking available at rear of RSL, behind shops, followed by a full gunfire breakfast. Afternoon events: Lunch served at 12pm. Two –up approximately 1pm. Live bands from 2pm till 8pm.

0700 hours members of 3 SQN, The Pilbara Regt, girl guides and scouts will march along Sandgate St to the memorial located on the corner of South Terrace and Sandgate St, South Perth. A service will then be conducted, wreaths are laid by various groups, government representatives and individuals. Parking is available on the oval in Sandgate St next to the council offices. Wheelchair access is available. After the service morning tea will be available in the Council Hall.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service and March to be held Wanneroo War Memorial Park, Civic Drive, Wanneroo. The Commemorative Service commences at 0550 followed by the March at 0635. A Gunfire Breakfast will be available. Parking at the Memorial is for Veterans and ACROD users only. Additional parking available in the basement of Wanneroo Central Shopping Centre.

15 APRIL – 0545 Dawn Service at Yanchep Sports and Social Club, Yanchep Beach Road, with Gunfire Breakfast to follow. 1030 Commemorative Service at Yanchep National Park Cenotaph and Memorial Gardens, with band, choir and Parade of community and ex-service groups. Parking at both sites, wheelchair friendly.
